3. How can I activate my SIM?
If you purchased a Nordtelekom Mobile SIM card with credit already added then you just need to put your SIM into your phone reboot it, and you are ready to make calls. If the SIM is roaming then the customer service can activate the card.

6. Where can I find my Nordtelekom Mobile phone number?
You will find your Nordtelekom Mobile number on the carrier card which held your SIM.
7. What is my complementary Hungarian/Polish phone number?
Shortly after the activation of your SIM you can apply for your Hungarian / Polish phone number on our website or at the customer service. This number can be called from Hungary or Ploand for a landline fee, and it will ring on your mobile of you are in the UK without charging you any fees. Give this Hungarian or Polish phone number to your Hungarian friends, business partners or relatives, so they can call you for landline fee while you are in the UK.
8. How can I activate, how do I use my Hungarian phone number?
Order at the website and then it’s automatically activated. The Hungarian call number is a “call-in” number meaning, that you can be called on this. If you make a phone call to Hungary, for cheap rates check out our bundle offers.
9. What mobile handsets can I use with Nordtelekom Mobile?
Any unlocked GSM mobile. For using your Hungarian/Polish phone number you don’t need any special phone, the service works even on an old Nokia, no internet service needed.
Only if you want to use the Reenger application for free calls, and for even cheaper national or international calls, then you need an Android or Iphone and WIFI or mobile internet connection.
10. How can I make and receive phone calls in UK from Hungary or Poland without roaming fees?
You can make and receive phone calls without roaming fee anywhere in the UK if you activated your Hungarian phone number. Your friends can reach your number at the cost of a domestic landline call on your activated Polish or Hungarian phone number anywhere in the UK.
11. How can I use my phone without roaming fees?
Your SIM can be used in the UK and in the EU without roaming fees, if you normally use it in then UK. You can receive calls on your Hungarian or Polish call in number (+36 21 XXX XXX) without roaming fees in the UK, and the caller pays only a Hungarian landline fee. If you are using the SIM outside of EU then roaming fees apply.
12. Why has my SIM stopped working?
Your Nordtelekom Mobile SIM will be automatically deactivated if a chargeable call is not made or a chargeable text is not sent for 90 days. You will receive a text message warning the day before it is due to deactivate. Once a SIM is deactivated it cannot be reactivated and the number will no longer be available to use or port to another network. Once the SIM is deactivated you account will be closed, all credits and bundle expire.
13. How long can I use my account?
Your Nordtelekom Mobile SIM will be automatically deactivated if a chargeable call is not made or a chargeable text is not sent for 90 days and you will receive a text message warning the day before it is due to deactivate. Once a SIM is deactivated it cannot be reactivated and the number will no longer be available to use or port to another network. Once the SIM is deactivated you account will be closed, all credits and bundle expire.
14. How do I top-up?
After purchasing top-upfrom our website you will receive a confirmation SMS. If you have purchased a physical voucher or e-voucher text the word "TOPUP" followed by a space then the 12 digit pin number to 1244. A successful text top-up will be confirmed by return SMS.
If you are outside the UK then the top-up by our website process should be used. If you are experiencing problems topping-up your phone please contact Customer Services by dialing 1200 from your Nordtelekom MobileSIM or +36 1 492 1000 from any other phone.
15. How do I set up recurring (auto) Top-Up?
On our website you can set up a recurring top up. Click on the Pay Monthly menu and you will be redirected to the payment side where you can select the amount you top up automatically monthly.
16. How do I cancel Auto Top-Up?

17. Can I Top up with Hungarian Forint or Euro?
Not yet, but we are working on it.
18. How do I check my balance?
You can check your balance at any time by dialing 1244 from your Nordtelekom Mobile SIM and selecting Option 1 from the menu. A balance by SMS can be requested by texting "BAL" to 1244
19. How can I check my voice mail?
Simply dial 1233 to listen to your messages or change your voicemail settings at any time.
You can access your Voicemail from any other number or while roaming by dialing +447973 101 233 and entering your pin.
20. How do I set up and use my Voicemail?
Voicemail is already set up on all Nordtelekom Mobile SIM. You can set up your pin by dialing 1233 from your Nordtelekom Mobile SIM and selecting Option 3; however you will need to set up your pin before leaving the UK to be able to access your voicemail abroad.
21. Can I keep my existing number?
Yes, and by transferring your existing number you’ll receive extra welcoming top-up amounts in the following months. Follow the instructions:
- You will need to request a PAC code (Porting Authorisation Code) from your existing provider.
- Contact our Customer Services team with these details on firstname.lastname@example.org or by dialing 1200 from any Nordtelekom Mobile SIM. You can also email us email@example.com and include the details of your existing mobile number, the Pac Code and expiry date issued by your network provider and the mobile number of your Nordtelekom Mobile.
- Once we have these details we can apply for your number to be moved, and we will inform you of the transfer/porting date within 72 hours.
22. Is my SIM enabled for internet/data access?
All Nordtelekom Mobile SIM cards can access the internet/data, however you may need to set-up your handset connection settings first.

23. Why am I unable to dial a number?
UK numbers beginning with 0844 and 09 cannot be dialed through your Nordtelekom Mobile SIM. When dialing abroad, the number you are calling should be prefixed with "+" or "00" followed by the country code and the number you are trying to call.
Some premium UK numbers are only reachable for 20 p per minute, see this link. You may find some internationals numbers cannot be dialed through the SIM if they are charged at a higher rate than standard calls to a destination. Examples of these numbers would be the Antarctica, Airports, Hospitals, Customer Service Centers etc see this link.
24. Can I use my SIM card abroad?
All Nordtelekom Mobile SIM cards are automatically enabled so they can be used abroad, in the EU there are no roaming fees however, outside the EU roaming charges will apply. Charges vary depending on the country you are calling from and to and a list of these charges is available on our webpage.
25. My SIM card is lost/ stolen. How do I prevent someone else from using it?
